Um, ok, I'm not registered yet, but, sorry I sent WS a PM about this, but could you elaborate on the guidelines for PG-13 diologue/behavior. Also, how do you post a link in your siggy? I've never gotten how to do that (course, I may just be dense ) Also, are you allowed to have more than one Character? I ask this because, I quote "It should go on the Applications board and include basic information about the character you'll be playing on the RP boards--who they are, what they are, what they're like, where they've come from, what they can do, etc. " yet later on it is mentioned as though you can only have one... And is the Audition literally a mini RP? I think that's all my questions for now.

Welcome, Em! I can help with some of these questions, but you'll have to go to the official master admin Beolakh for the others. The answers to how to do just about everything technical are located in this thread. I am pretty certain you may have only one character that is the center of every scene you post; however, minor sideline characters are necessary to any story and may be used from scene to scene. I do believe the use of "they" is the hypothetical unfamiliar use of the word that is easier to say than "he/she" each time. Yes, the Audition is a mini RP. Hope this helps!

Hey (Who are you on CP? (I'm assuming you're from there )) Ok, I was figuring that concerning the number of characters. Do you know if we'll be able to change out at any time?

Sorry, folks! Late night training run with the WWR runners. WOOT! One moment while I slip into my admin attire... I'm not sure about multiple characters. It'd be awfully limiting to tell everybody they can have only one. I'm kind of in favor of allowing multiple characters; however, if we do, we'll only allow one per account. I.e., to make a new character, you'd also have to register a new account. Of course, then we'd have to set up a system for new character requests, so we wouldn't end up Auditioning the same person five different times... We'll have to see. We'll put this in the "pending admin discussion" category. As for PG-13 content: I assume we'll be dealing with a fairly mature audience, but I want to keep the forum safe for all. Hence, there is no inappropriate language OOC, and IC it must be VERY LIMITED. VERY. And it's all censored anyhow. And oooh, I'd better not catch any graphic sexual content. That would invoke wrath on a biblical level. (I don't expect we'll have that problem with you though, Em. )

Ok, thanks I think I'll register soon, just not sure what charry I want to use. I have an idea for a charry, but she's, eh... very flirty, so I might not use her since I'm using her in the CP MR.

What exactly do you mean by a "title"?
(I'm Em btw)

Eh...it can be whatever. If your character is a descendant of nobility, his/her title would go there. In my case, it's my character's arena name. If your character has a name or title different than just her occupation, you can put it in that field.

Hey! I decided to join! Though I can't guarantee complete activity, though hopefully during the summer I'll have more time. Anyhoo, this sounds like my kinda website! This is my favorite kinda thing about RPGs, and we'll actually get graded on it? Cool! And I love the skin! Who made it? Did you guys do it yourself or borrow it from someone? Anyways, one quick question: you said "The Rubric gives a work a score out of 100 points: 20 points for Mechanics, 30 points for Design, and 40 points for Technique. Here's the breakdown:" Um.... 20+30+40=90, not 100 so where are the extra 10 gonna be? There's a max of 95 if someone gets it all plus the extra credit right now... oh, I just got an idea for an extra 10 points. How about overall flow of the story? Or is that covered under diction?

.....Ahm...w...wow.... So, apparently that whole "addition" thing never really caught on for me "Flow" would probably be covered under Plot. Any other thoughts? I'll think on it and try to come up with another category. Oy...sorry, folks! Oh yes! And Welcome, Riwoose!

By flow I meant more like in an essay, not choppy, even if its technically right it doesn't have to flow well, I guess readability may be a better word, but that's still probably covered somewhere Thanks for the welcome! I'll get my charry up soon I hope
