Beolakh and I have been talking about this. Since those things ARE covered in the plot section, we are adding more points there to get the total up to 100 and still acknowledge that. Thanks for the suggestion. Thank you for joining!

Another question! Don't you just love me for all of these? (and no, that wasn't it) Why you linkie me to a sealed off area? I no have permission to view thread! Edit: another quick question: if we made up a race in our character creation, do we need to start a topic about them in Species/Races section of the Almanac?

To limit access to the Workshop (people don't like just anybody looking at their work), it's not accessible until after you have Auditioned. The link goes to a thread in the Workshop Feedback Forum, which is locked to Fledglings ;D
Nope. In fact, you can't; only administrators can post in the Almanac. The races there are "canon" races, ones that have significant impact on the world as a whole.
Although, we're working on a system for World Development submissions. It'll probably be a thing where, once you've made a certain number of posts or reached a certain point level, you'll be able to submit things to the admins to review for the Almanac. If we do that, then you'll be able to write up an info thread about your race to get it approved as canon and added to the Almanac.

Oh, about my audition, next Saturday I'm leaving for Michigan, so unless we start it today or tomorrow, I won't be able to do it for a while, just letting you admins know And yet another question ;D can nonCP people join? In other words, could I do something like invite my cousin to join? And a question about the world of Domhantir: how do you want to handle religion? I noticed that the Feayr worshiped a moon goddess... I mean, it adds to the realism, but still...

Votinsze? Nastuaya does NOT affect the world as we know it! I thought everyone could post their races - after all, everyone can post their characters and can make up their own races - why can't they tell us what the race is? I want to see you in my office, Beolakh, this instant! Rivus, it's up to you. Who do you want to audition you and when? Just let us know.

well, if it can be started today, that'd be great! Then I could finish it up before I leave for my trip. Otherwise I'm not fully sure when we could do it. Who does it really doesn't matter to me

Hello all. I'm the newest member, Vinquith. Okay, questions:
1. Players can "upgrade" their characters? Such as we have brainstorms about character skills or abilities, and we suggest it to admins and then work towards adding that to our repertoire through gaining points? Or are there pre-determined skills that we work towards?
2. I appologize beforehand; I am very bad at the computer 'lingo'. If you wouldn't mind, and it doesn't send you into a hissy fit or nervous brakedown, please take the time to write out the whole word/phrase! Sorry.

Welcome, Vinquith! Nice to meet you As I understand it, here's how it works: you get points over time, and when you get enough points, you "level up" or upgrade is another word. When you level up, you get to improve/add little things to your character's profile. Such things include new skills, upgrading your current skills to higher levels (not all at once mind you), as well as possibly a familiar. Also, if your character's appearance has changed at all (scar, lost a limb, hair color change, etc.) you would edit that, as well as fill out the history more if applicable. Do note that I think that these upgrades in skills need to be explainable by the actions that your character has taken. For example, if you were to get archery lessons from Fvarith, when your next level up came you could add in archery as a skill. Although you must note one thing: all changes MUST be approved by an administrator (either Fvarith or Beolakh). The reason for this is simple, its a controlled way of showing how your character grows, matures, and becomes more experienced over time. Does that make sense? Again, this is my understanding on it, if I'm wrong one of the admins (short for administrators ) will come and correct me edit: oh, and I do have a question of my own. Fvarith told me that under the location category of our profile, we should put the location of our character, correct? Well, could you up the character limit please? 30 is extremely limiting, here is what I had to put: Farm near Tairafon in Talambar What I'd like to put is something like this: On his uncle's farm near the forest of Tairafon, in the land of Talambar. Or something similar to that effect. It makes for much greater clarity and proper grammar with more characters, so hopefully the limit can be raised
